It gives an amazing soft-focus matte finish and definitely controls excess sebum all day long. My large pores are visibly blurred. I only gave it 4 stars because if you forget to shake the bottle thoroughly before use you don't get the full mattifying effect. Once you follow the instructions it is brilliant.
It really does blur fine lines and pores like a real-life filter. The crimson bottle is gorgeous too. My only small note is that you have to let it air-dry completely for a few seconds without touching your face. Once dry it's completely smudge-proof and amazing.
